i have to write an compare and contrast essay on south beach diet and atkins but im trying to find out which?

one is better? does anyone know?

Atkins produces better weight loss results, especially the earlier versions of the diet, as in the 1972 and 1992 versions of the book. Much of the South Beach diet was based on Dr. Robert Atkins’ work.
